About Gray's Mountain Feist

Our immediate branch of the Gray Family consists of Marc, Jess & Danielle.

We've been offering high-quality Mountain Feist squirrel dogs to serious hunters since 2005. Marc is a Wildlife Biologist by training and Jess is a DIII Field Hockey Coach.

Our goal is to keep traditions like squirrel hunting with the Mountain Feist breed alive and well into the future. We eat what we harvest and introduce people of all backgrounds and ages to hunting.

GRAY'S MOUNTAIN FEIST HOLD THEIR OWN IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS AND TERRAIN: AGAINST STIFF COMPETITORS

Marc has "competition hunted" (field trials for points toward titles where no game is harvested) in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio, Georgia and Virginia. We have "pleasure hunted" (traditional, hunting squirrels for meat) in Missouri, Virginia, Maine and South Dakota.

Marc finished the Foundation Female of the breeding program, Kentucky Jody, to Squirrel and Bench Champion with the National Kennel Club (NKC). Her Squirrel Champion title was completed in a single competition year and Jody was in the Top 10 for the 2008 NKC's Squirrel Dog of the Year Standings.
